Privacy statement

Plain language, no fine print. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

Last updated 30 July 2026

01 · What we collect

Only what you hand us

The information on an application form — applicant and parent or guardian names, address, phone, email, date of birth, school, and the short written answers. Plus anything you send us directly by email or phone. That is the whole list. We do not buy data about you and we do not build a profile from your visit.

02 · Why we hold it

To run the program

To review an application, contact you about it, plan a cohort, meet safety and insurance obligations for minors in a shop environment, and — if you asked for it — send program news. Nothing else.

03 · Who sees it

Instructors and staff

Applications are reviewed by Iron Cross instructors and staff. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties for their own use. If a service provider ever handles data on our behalf — email hosting, for instance — they are bound to use it only for that purpose.

04 · Students under 18

Parents are in the loop

An application for a minor is completed with a parent or guardian, who signs it. We correspond with the parent or guardian on anything involving their student's record, and we will not publish a student's name, likeness, or work without written permission.

05 · Cookies

Essential only

This site uses only the storage needed to make it work — including one entry that remembers whether you accepted the cookie notice, so it stops asking. There is no advertising network, no cross-site tracking, and no analytics profile tied to you. Declining the notice stores nothing.

06 · Your control

Ask and it is done

Email us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Applications for students who do not enroll are kept for one admissions cycle and then destroyed. You can unsubscribe from program news at any time.
